This year we decided to try growing our own garden. We planted a green zucchini plant in the garden and we have been coming up with various side dishes using the zucchini. If you are trying to figure out what to do with green zucchini try this recipe. This one is our favorite so far. You can never seem to go wrong when sautéing vegetables in butter!
Garlic Zucchini Recipe Ingredients:
1 medium zucchini
2 gloves fresh garlic
2 tablespoons butter
½ yellow onion
Fresh ground pepper
Cut the zucchini in ½ inch thick slices and cut the slices in half.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add zucchini slices, chopped yellow onion, and pressed garlic to the butter. Add fresh ground pepper and sea salt to taste. Continue to cook over medium heat until the zucchini is tender throughout, be careful not to overcook. Serve with your favorite dish!
